Websites
I use a lethal combination of CSS, PHP, and HTML. All sites are created to work in 99% of all browsers. I usually build in 800x600 as a standard but if requested I can build for multi resolution (for an additional fee) or a different resolution. I have a NON-DUMP & RUN policy. I do not dump a site in your lap and leave you there with your hands in the air, wondering what to do next. I stick around until you are comfortable with your site.
This is a partial list of websites that I have created. Each was done to client specifications. Many clients go on to be Webmaster of their own sites. Over time changes/additions are made, so if you have any questions about a particular site, please let me know.
BeadedHeron.Com
Stephanie needed something clean, and very user friendly. I designed an Admin area for her, so she can update her website easily with new inventory, and change any information (prices and status ect.). The original heron illustration was created by Muriel Areno. I further refined it, and simplified it to meet our needs. Per Stephanie's own rantings, she is NOT computer savvy in the least, so this was a great accomplishment to make sure she felt comfortable enough to update it, without her feeling trapped or lost. Beaded Heron is also hosted on KJ Webdesign using a simple redirect. This saves her expensive montly hosting fees.
Carthay.Com
Carthay Set Services is a large professional set company in LA for TV and FILM. They needed an online presence to show their portfolio. I worked closely with an employee, and we came up with the perfect solution to their online portfolio. For this site I created custom graphics.
JohnBorrero.Com
This site was a true passion. I find John's art so moving. I came up with the concept of looking inside his mind at his workspace. Little bits of his art strung about, and numerous faces used as buttons. I created custom graphics from some of his existing works of art, and created the buttons from images he sent me. We both get TONS of compliements from his website. It's truly a one of a kind masterpiece.
Khur-Vay.Com
For this site, I created custom graphics and layouts. Using Khur-Vay's color prefrences, and desire to fuse the looks of tribal and traditional bellydancing themes (with a hint of her Karate training); I created a site she fell in love with. As a small business owner, she now has the ability to update/manage her online inventory all on the web. She can list new hair falls very easily with a custom back end ADMIN area built specifically for her site, making it easy to update. Her site is also hosted at KJWebDesign.com for a fraction of the cost.
HeideHibbard.Com
Heide's site was devised from colors pulled directly from her paintings, and stars. The stars were part of her original site, and we both liked them so much we decided to keep them. Using a simple times new roman font we created a crisp clean look that accented Heide's artwork perfectly. Heide has the ability to sell work from her website. She also requested the ability to update a FLASH style slide show. We came up with the concept of using a slide show on photobucket. She can update it anytime she wishes without having to go into the code.
PurpleRainJamaica.Com
Donna and I decided the best way to show off the pure beauty of the Purple Rain Guest House was to showcase the many beautiful photos. As we continued, I fell in love with the handmade Mangrove railings. They in turn became a center piece of the splash and menu of the site. For the site I created custom layouts and graphics.
KrisJean.Com
This is my personal website for Art. I use the site as a one-stop-HUB for all things Kris Jean. I can sell my art, or point them to where my art is being sold. For my site I used one of my favorite color combos for the web, pink and charcoal. I also have set up a LIVE studio cam for when I'm in the studio getting to work on my art. (it's currently down do to a computer death)
MamacitaBeadworks.Com
For D'Arsie, I created custom graphics and layouts. The main logo was created using her earthy color choices and a few photo refrences of her Godess pendants and statues..
MistyStar.Com
Misty Star Collectibles is an online store to find all kinds of vintage things. They specialize in older boards games. I created custom graphics, layouts and code for the site. It's a constantly growing site, and is ever changing. They are going through updating older areas of the site, to go with the new look.
